May 24, 2025 — Pride Cares by Open Table MCC successfully held its first-ever Drag Bingo fundraising event at the Brgy. Kaunlaran Covered Court in Cubao, Quezon City. Inspired by Resurrection MCC’s Annual Drag Bingo Fundraiser, the event served as a vibrant prelude to Pride Month, blending entertainment, advocacy, and community spirit in a fun-filled, inclusive gathering.
The event raised a total of ₱172,325.00, with expenses amounting to ₱85,779.38, yielding net funds of ₱86,545.62. This surpassed the initial fundraising target by over ₱36,000, marking a significant milestone for Pride Cares. The full report can be found here.
Hosted by four amazing local drag performers — Kapitana Lacy, Merckz, Angel Santiago, and Superstarlet XXX — and featuring a special guest appearance by Louie Faundo (popularly known as “Bulalo Diaries”), the event attracted almost a hundred attendees.
The event aimed to raise funds for Pride Cares by Open Table MCC while also enhancing the visibility of both Pride Cares and Open Table MCC as welcoming and dynamic spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals of faith, as well as heterosexuals seeking a more progressive Christian community. It served as a special pre-Pride Month gathering and sought to promote inclusivity and diversity within the wider community.
The evening featured four bingo games, including three minor rounds with total prizes of ₱9,000 and one grand round with a prize of ₱12,000.
More than just a fundraiser, Pride Cares Drag Bingo 2025 fostered community connection, amplified inclusive faith expression, and laid the organization’s groundwork for future events that celebrate pride and purpose. #
